Connecticut's Farmington Libraries' Sand Castle Building event at Winding Trails was just a blast for over 1,000 participants.. take a look:

It was just wonderful to see our Kids enjoy the camaraderie and sense of accomplishment they experienced in this three-dimensional experience. Parents learned a good bit about themselves and their kids as many participated. I am especially happy to have had the opportunity to meet Ed Jarrett the fabulous sand sculptor and artist and to work with our great children’s department team who put this whole day together… Just outstanding work in every way….And, thank you: Kathy, Vida, Trish, Paula, Eva, Joan, Angela and Jane for your professionalism and skill in this and the many other events you produce daily…. Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, Check out the children's Blog for more PiX......
